Yes, we are on top of things this year, we went and had our family pictures done. Chad and I were so pleased how they turned out. We both have to say we think our kids are pretty cute. We had my cousin Kirk Sample out of Salt Lake City take our pictures this year and he did an amazing job. I cannot believe how many pictures he took and quality of work that he does, they were are fabulous pictures.

Train Safety

Well last Thursday August 6th my Mom had tickets for our family to go ride on a train and learn about train safety. The kids had so much fun, they thought they we so cool to be able to sit on the top bunk of train. we had a lot of fun.

Kaislyn is turning 4

Yes Kaislyn will be turning 4 on September 7th, I can not believe that she has been with us for almost 4 years. She is so sweet and fun to be with. she adores her big brothers. We have such a perfect little family. When we went down to have her pictures done all of the girls at kiddie kandids kept telling me and Kaislyn how cute she was, they loved her hair with all the curl, and loved her big brown eyes. One of the girls there said she was one of the cutest little girls she had ever seen and Kaislyn told her I know... my dad made me that way. How do answer to something like that.Kids will be kids the say what there dads tell them to say.

Summer Pictures 2009

Well i did it, that hardest thing to do with kids, we went had had their pictures done. I thought if I did them now I would not have to buy the ugly school pictures and it was Tayson 8th birthday in July and Kaislyn 4th birthday coming up. No they turned out really well, it is hard to see in these little pictures but we did some really fun ones this time. I wanted pictures of the kids having fun with each other and I think they turned out well, other then you can see past the back drops because Saxton was so big and tall, but in all the picture I had printed and done they were able to crop all of that out. Well I do have to say it I think my kids are pretty dang cute...

Tayson has turned the big 8

Well Tayson is going to do it, he is getting baptized on Saturday September 5th 2009. He has been so afraid to have this done in fear the he was going to drowned in the water but he says he is not scared any more. We are so proud of Tayson at this time, he is such a good kid and has a fun personality. This kid knows what he wants and will not take no for an answer. Tayson is our little sport man, he is out side all day long playing baseball, basketball, jumping his bike, or grinding his skateboard. Tayson would live out side if we would let him, he wants to play every sport that he can play.

Colleen's Summer Off!!!!!!!!

Well it has been so long since I have posted on our blog. You would think with having not to work at Stock I would have time to do things like this more often, or at least that is what I thought... I really do not know where times goes. I do not know how I managed my time when I was working full time at Stock and part time at Larry's Pharmacy. Now I am only working part time at the pharmacy and staying home with the kids and I think I am home less now then I was working two jobs. No really I have enjoyed having some time off this summer it has been great to get to do things with the kids I was never able to do when I worked with Stock. The kids and I have been able to make a couple of trips to Layton and Salt Lake and spend time with family and friends this summer, we have also been able to go to the pool in Logan, and to Bear Lake. We have really enjoyed this summer and our time that we have gotten with each other. It has been a real adjustment for us though. The first week I was home, my hardest child which is really hard to say was Saxton he and I went at it all the time. Saxton was the one always in charge when Chad and I were not home and so he made all the calls, so when Mom was home now all of a sudden Saxton thought he still made all the calls....that had to change. Now really he is a great kid but not near as clean as i would like him to be...lets just say he never picks ups. Saxton tries and is getting a lot better now that I can follow him around all day long, I am sure he will be glad when school starts. No really this has been a great experience for me this summer to be able to stay at home with the kids, I have enjoyed them but I am so happy to see school starting in 2 weeks......

Saxton is getting so BIG!!!!!!!!

Well it is so hard to believe that Saxton turned 10 years old on May 27th. He is almost as tall as I am, which is not hard to do were I am only 5'3" but still he is my baby. It seems like just yesterday Chad and I brought him home from the hospital, but NO that was 10 years ago. I feel so old!!!! I never thought the day would come when I said my baby was 10. I remember when I turned 10 oh how long ago that was. I remember thinking my parents were so not cool and old, now that is what Saxton thinks of Chad and I. POOR US!!! No really Saxton is an amazing kid, so good to us and Tayson and Kaislyn. We are very proud of him.

NO job for Colleen as of June 30th

Well today was my first day back to work from our week long vacation with the kids, which was a great trip with bad news for Colleen. While we were on our trip Daryl my boss had called me to inform me that we are all losing our jobs at Stock Building Supply as of June 30th 2009. I have never felt so sick in my life. I have worked with Sotck for the last 11 years and loved the people I worked with. This has been very hard for me because anybody that knows me knows I do not like change and I have my comfort zone wich has now been taken away. Chad and I are trying to be positive about the job thing so hopefully things will work out. I am trying to get into a nursing program and finish my degree and move on, I hope it works!!!!

Vegas Road Trip

This was our raod trip we went on in February with some of our friends. We all left our kids and headed out to Las Vegas. We had so much fun, and we laughed so hard. We went to Lake Havasu for 3 days then to Vegas for 2 days. We never really had a plan other then we went to see Nascar on March 1st. It was really fun, Penny had never been to Vegas before and she loved it.

WOW!! Tayson did it!!!!!!

Well on Friday April 24th 2009 Tayson reached his goal at school of reading a 100 points in AR reading. He got to walk the halls as classmates, friends and family got to cheer him on. He thought he was so cool, and he was so proud of himeself and we were very proud of him to.

Kaislyn 1st Dance competition

Kaislyn was so cute, these are some pictures of her at her very first dance competition in Preston. She did so good , we did not think she would dance in front of all of those people and she did. She loved every second. I cannot believe how fast she is growing, she will be 4 this year.

We Are Still Alive

I cannot believe where the time goes. It has almost been 3 months since I have blogged. We have done so much in the last couple of months. In February Chad and I, Penny and Clint, Wes and Jane all went on a raod trip, we had so much fun. We drove to my Lake Havasu for 3 days and then went to Las Vegas for 2 days and went to Nascar. We did this trip with NO children and had a great time. We missed the kids don't get us wrong, but is nice to have adult time. Saxton and Tayson have both been to baseball and camp and have both started on their baseball teams this year. Kaislyn has been dancing and is very cute. We are going on a family trip in May to California and to Lake Havasu for a week, the kids can hardly wait......

It has been a while!!!!

Well sorry it has been so long since I have updated everyone on Jodi. Well she is doing very well, we can not believe she looks so good, she is a very lucky woman. She is living with Chad and I, until she is ready to be on her own again. My kids love having Jodi around, because she is the fun one. Chad and I are just so blessed to have our children and how supportive they are with having Jodi with us. In the last few weeks Chad and I have also been to parents teacher conference for the kids. Well good news is they all three are very well behaved in class and do not cause any problems that way, which we do have say we where quite supprised but very pleased. On another note, Saxton....WOW don't we all wished we lived in his world. He is such a good kid but he is to worried about what he is going to do next he tends to forget to hand in all of his work. We are going to really have to work on that one for some better grades or even a grade at all if you know what I mean, but who could not love Saxton. Tayson, well if he could learn in bikes he would have a master degree by now. No really Tayson is a good student and tries so hard, he is such a pleaser. Kaislyn well pre-school is a big hit for her, she loves it. Where she missed the September Dead line for school she is going to have two more years of pre-school left, but Chad and I are not complaining.... We need an easy one. Well we hope all of you are doing well and we hope to hear from you or see from you soon. Love The Jensen

Bad News For The Jensen Family

Well Sunday January 18th 2009 I received a very devastating phone call form the Franklin County Medical Center. It was about 5:00 a.m. when the hospital had called to inform me that I needed to come down as soon as possible to represent Jodi my sister who had been shot in the neck by her husband. When i arrived at the hospital the Doctors, Nurses, and EMT staff where working on her, they told me they were going to have to life flight her out to Salt Lake City, where she would undergo a couple of surgery's. She is doing good considering what she has been through this far. She will be in the hospital for quite a while recovering. I can not express my thanks enough to all of the medical staff who has help with Jodi, if not for them Jodi would not be alive today. Jodi is unable to understand what she has been through at this time, they have keep her very medicaided, so she is unable to speak with us, she does love to have the family close. She does listen to voices that she knows and tries to come to but her poor body has been through so much. Jodi has a machine breathing for her, they are trying to slowly take her off the breathing machine. I will keep you all posted on her. We are all praying for her and hoping for a full recovery.

Basketball 2009 for Saxton

I cannot believe how fast time is flying. Saxton is going to be 10 years old in May and is almost as tall as his Mom is. We put Saxton on the city basketball team this year again and he is doing really well, he really loves playing. Saxton definitely has the built for the sport we are just working on the coordination. His team is really fun to watch, they are all trying so hard to learn the sport. We really hope this is a sport he will like to play.
